The launch & retrieve kit is designed to remove the need to be in the dinghy to take the davit hook off or put it on to the bridle. Simply hook it up, launch the tender and snap the hook from the bridle, or walk the tender from the back of the boat to the davit and feed the davit hook on to bridle.
